My final role at Splash Damage before moving on to Naughty Dog was as the Lead Level Designer working on Gears Tactics.
My responsibilities as a lead on this project included:
► Remaining actively involved in level creation while carrying out management duties.
► Leading a large team of level designers and providing feedback, guidance and task management.
► Carrying out one-to-one monthly conversations to monitor and aid in the development of the level designers.
► Responsible for level design recruitment at a studio level across all projects within the company.
► Documenting gameplay systems, metrics, workflows and environment requirements.
► Running level review sessions with level design, art, vfx.
